Teeth cleaning (scaling)
Scaling removes hardened tartar and stains from your teeth and along the gum line. Polishing then smooths the surface so plaque sticks less.
- How long does it take?
- 1 visit, 30–45 minutes
- Does it hurt?
- Mild tickling; sensitive spots can be numbed
- What about recovery?
- Teeth may feel sensitive for a day or two
You might need this if
- Gums bleed when you brush
- Yellow or brown build-up near the gums
- Bad breath that doesn't go away
